"EXTRA MILE" Bits

Let your faith in Jesus draw others into a personal relationship with God.

PRAYERS FOR LIFE Work as if all depends on us; pray as if all depends on God. As we continue to promote the Culture of Life, we realize none of us is in charge—God is. Sacred Heart of Jesus, Our Patron, The Author of Life, have mercy on us. Please protect the unborn.

On this Feast of Divine Mercy, first proclaimed by St. John Paul Il, we see the Sacred Heart as he appeared to St. Faustina. As It once poured out It's Blood and Water from the Cross, It continues to pour out It's Blood and Water in an ocean of mercy. Please pray for all those who promote the Culture of Death as we continue to support those who promote Life—Anna's Pantry, sandwiches for Catholic Charities, Joseph's House, 40 Days for Life, to name only a few. Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

What are Small Groups? Small Groups is where our large church becomes small. Groups are 6- 12 people who meet to discuss faith, go deeper in the weekly mes- sage, and support one another in their relationship with Christ This is the place to care for others and be cared for; a place to impact our community and the world. Small Groups are a great place to explore, ask questions, and grow.

In January we will be starting small groups here at Sacred Heart and would like to invite you to get involved! Please go to our website and fill out a seven-question survey (below) and someone will contact you to help you get started. It is simple, easy, and only takes a few minutes, but it will change your life! Any questions see Dc. Ken after mass or call the office!
