October 22nd at 3:30 pm here at Sacred Heart
Church right before the 4:00 pm Mass. Each of the
five decades is of a different color to represent each
of the five continents: Africa, US/Canada/Latin America/Native Americans, Europe, Australia/Oceana and
Asia/Middle East. We are looking for 50 volunteers,
all ages to recite the rosary. All you have to know is a
Hail Mary, Our Father or Glory Be. The prayers may

The Respect Life Ministry will be offering Brady Bread in the Cathering Area on the week-
end of October 21st and 22nd. Sales of the bread support the programs of Brady Faith
Center, the Catholic Mission serving Southwest Syracuse. Your $3.00 donation per loaf
goes directly to ONO of Brady Faith Centees programs serving those in need, the Jail
Ministry and Pedals to Possibilities. Thank you for your continued support each year.
26th Annual CROP WALK

This year Crop Walk will be held on Sunday, October 22nd so

We will be holding a new training session for all boys and girls in 4th grade or
above who are interested in serving in the Altar Server Ministry. We are also
asking that all current altar Servers attend for both a review session and to
help in the training of the new Servers. Both new and current Servers must

The Pro Vita Award seeks to honor Bishop Moynihan's legacy by granting a $1,000 scholarship to 2 high school seniors who graduate in 2018 and reside in the Syracuse Diocese. The
scholarships will apply toward college tuition. Funds will be awarded based on submissions
answering the following: Why are you Pro-Life and how will you help build a culture of life?
Submissions may be video, essay, dance, Song, music, pictures, or art (Limited to 2 minutes
or 500 words).

Awards will be presented at the Mass for Life with Bishop Cunningham at the Cathedral of
the Immaculate Conception on October 26th, 2017. Contest is open to all Cathohc students

record of socks collected in 8 hours! Here is how we can do it: bring your

33rd Annual World Marriage Day will be celebrated on February
11th, 2:30 pm at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception,
Syracuse. The Most Rev. Robert J. Cunningham will celebrate
Mass and invites all couples in attendance to renew their com-
mitment to Holy Matrimony. He will specially honor couples
who will celebrate their 25th, 50th and beyond 50th anniversary
in 2018. If you are one of these couples, please contact the
parish office to register before December 1st.

Fr. Prior will be leading a trip to the Sight and Sound
Theater, Lancaster, Pa. to see "Miracle of Christmas"
with a visit to the Kitchen Kettle Village and to The
National Centre for Saint Padre Pio. Cost is $199.00
per person due at registration. Hotel rooms are
double occupancy. The bus, hotel, theatre tickets, bus
and dinner and lunch the following day are included in
the price. Lunch on November 30th is on your own.
